FAQs
How do you accept payment AND Do your prices include tax?
I accept payment by Cash, Cheque or E - transfer. They do not! HST is added on afterwards.
How do we pick photo locations?
It is important to pick a location that means something to the two of you. Whether it be a place you walk the dog often, or where he or she proposed! If you don’t resonate with a place I will happily assist in the decision but I do recommend picking a location with meaning.
How many images can we expect from our engagement or wedding?
I am a huge believer in quality over quantity. I do not provide a standard number of images delivered, but if I had to ball park it for your sake you can expect 50 + images for your engagement and depending on hours of coverage of your wedding it can range anywhere between 500 - 900 images.
Does it cost to have you travel to our wedding? How much?
This depends on location. If the venue or location is 20 kms outside of Seguin, ON then a travel fee of $0.75/km comes into effect. We will discuss the price of this upon booking.
Can you shoot JUST our engagement session if you’re not available for our wedding?
I would absolutely love to. I do recommend having an engagement shoot with your wedding photographer as well. It helps you develop a sense or how they work, and how they will be on your wedding day! It also gets you comfortable in front of the lens and will help ease your nerves on the big day.
Does the photographer retain the copyright to the images? Does that mean we can’t share them?
I do retain the copyright to the images. You can absolutely share them, print and display them for personal use. However, you cannot use them for marketing or advertisement. Basically, if you are displaying these images for financial gain, we will need to have a chat! The contract you sign states all of this in depth for you.
Do we need a second shooter?
A second shooter is an amazing addition. This will provide your gallery with different angles and perspectives of your moments. It also leaves flexibility with timeline as a second shooter can be off documenting other moments, while my priority lies with you.
Can we order prints of your images or does that cost extra?
You can absolutely order prints of your favourite images but it does cost extra and we can discuss this further once your gallery is delivered.
Can I have unedited versions of the photos or the RAWs?
Photography is an art form. Would you let someone else finish your canvas and still sign your name? With this being said, unfortunately I do not release unedited photos or RAW images. I assure you, there will be a blooper reel and you’ll still have amazing moments, goofy moments and everything in between.
How long until we get to see our photos?
For delivery of your engagement session you will receive teaser images in a few days, and your gallery within 3 - 6 weeks. For delivery of your wedding gallery, you will receive previews within two weeks and you can expect your gallery within 8 - 12 weeks.
